Everything Boogu-Image-0.1 can do

Boogu-Image-0.1 is Boogu's picture editor. It doesn't make pictures from nothing: it reads one picture, follows a written instruction, and hands the picture back at the size it came in, from 512 to 2048 pixels on a side. It writes Chinese and English, and comes in two versions, Edit and the faster Edit Turbo.

Every picture below was made by the step under it. Change a placeholder and press Gen to make your own. The starting photos are placeholders too: drop in your own.

Same object, new place

Write the instruction as plain sentences: what changes first (the backdrop and the floor), then the new place in detail, then a list of what must stay: the object's shape, colors, materials, angle and spot in the frame. Ask for shadows where it touches the ground and the new light on its surface, so it looks photographed there, not pasted in.

There is no size to pick: the picture keeps its own, and Edit's price follows it, 4 credits up to 1024 × 1024 and up to 34 at 2048 × 2048. Edit Turbo does the same job in a few seconds where Edit takes a minute or so, for 1 credit at this size. Here it moves a shoe three times.

Taken out, filled in

To remove someone, name them by where they stand and what they wear, ask for their shadow to go too, and say what was behind them: here, more brick wall and pavement. Everyone else stays as they stood.

On Edit, Negative prompt lists what must not appear. This one keeps out the usual traces of a removal: a ghost outline, a leftover shadow, a smudge.

The same works on small things. This cleanup takes a sticker, tape and a paperclip off an old map and carries the paper on beneath them. Say what to leave alone, such as the stains and the fading, so it doesn't restore the page as well.

One thing at a time

To add something, say what it is, where it goes and what it rests on, and light it with the room's light, so its shadow falls the same way as everything else's.

Edits stack. The next one reads the picture above and repaints only the cabinets; the one after swaps the lemons for flowers. The cat stays on the windowsill through both, because each prompt keeps whatever sits on the sill.

New clothes, same person

For a try-on, say which garment goes, describe the new one down to its seams and fastenings, and say how it sits on this body in this pose. Then list the person: face, hair, skin, build, pose and hands, so nothing else moves.

A second edit changes the shoes and keeps the new jacket.

Another season

It can move a whole place to another season and hour and keep every wall, tree and peak where it was. Say what the ground, the trees, the water and the sky become, and which lights come on.

A new medium

To restyle, name the medium by how it's made: the tool, the kind of line, how many colors. Then pin the composition: every shape where it is, the same horizon, the same light and dark. These three redraw the winter chapel.

On a person, ask for the face and the pose to stay recognizable. These two redraw the rain jacket try-on.

Chinese and English

It writes in Chinese and in English. Put the words in quotes and say where they go, how big, and how they're made: brushed, carved, lit.

Then Edit Turbo takes the street into the night. The prompt quotes nothing new; it asks for the sign to stay as written.
